How much does it cost?
Our custom airbag covers start at $219 for non-LED, and $299 for RGB LED. Customization options include:
- Fabric Type & Color
- Stitching Color
- Trim Finish/Color (if applicable)
- Center Logo Badge Design or Custom Stitched Design
- RGB LED Emblem Upgrade (If applicable, limited designs available)
Can you make custom emblems or LED logos?
We cannot make custom plastic emblems or LED logos, we only have OEM style emblems and LED logos available. We CAN stitch almost any logo/design on the airbag cover though!
How long will my airbag cover take to build?
The typical lead/build time for our custom airbag covers is around 4-5 weeks.
Is this a complete airbag assembly?
No, this is just a customized cover that replaces your existing airbag cover. You will reuse your existing airbag assembly and components.
How do I install my airbag cover?
You will remove your existing airbag assembly from your steering wheel by releasing the 2 metal tabs from the rear of the wheel (see Youtube videos). Next, you will remove your existing airbag cover from the assembly by prying the plastic tabs and sliding off the cover. Now you'll simply reinstall the new cover on your original airbag assembly, connect the power wires to 12v+ and Ground (only if it is an LED cover), then push the airbag assembly back in place on the steering wheel.
Will the customized cover effect how my airbag deploys?
No, our airbag covers are molded off the design of original airbag covers and include the thinner "break lines" so that the cover can easily separate in the case of an airbag deployment.
Will you contact me to confirm my build details?
Once we receive your order, one of our steering wheel experts will look over the provided selections, identify any questions or clarifications for your build, then email you with the full details listed out with any questions we may have. Once you are satisfied with the build sheet, we will confirm your airbag cover selections and add it to our build schedule.
Can I make changes to my steering wheel after I have confirmed it?
If it is within 1 week of confirming your selections, we MAY be able to make minor changes if needed. From that point, the airbag cover is likely in production and making changes may require additional costs to redo certain selections and will delay the final delivery date of your airbag cover. We ask that you try your best to be certain of your selections!
Can I cancel or return my airbag cover after I have confirmed it?
You have up to 72 hours to cancel your custom airbag order. After that period, the order cannot be canceled. NO EXCEPTIONS. Each airbag cover is custom and handbuilt according to your exact specifications. Due to the custom nature of the product, as well as the build process that spans over several weeks, you cannot CANCEL OR RETURN your airbag cover after that time frame. Custom products are scheduled/started/built based your commitment to purchase the custom product that you ordered. IF AN AIRBAG COVER IS RETURNED, THERE IS A 50% NON-NEGOTIABLE RESTOCKING FEE to cover the material cost, time, and hours of labor our custom airbag cover require to build.
Do your products have a warranty?
Our custom steering wheels include an industry leading 2 year warranty for craftsmanship, electrical functions, etc. We do not warranty any faults that arise from negligence, accidents, customer supplied components, etc (button/paddle shifter mechanisms, airbag mechanisms, factory wiring harnesses, etc)
